Tracy Barton - Castle Blue Development

Tracy Barton

Consultant

My style is professional but informal, establishing trust and rapport is central to my coaching. I aim to create a safe environment to provide the right level of support and will challenge your thinking when appropriate.

I see coaching as a collaborative relationship and we will work together to enable you to gain clarity, explore what’s really going on, recognise unhelpful behaviour patterns and initiate change. You choose what you want to work on, you set your goals and you are accountable for your actions. In other words, you are always in charge of the agenda. What I bring is a set of skills for helping you identify what you want to achieve, what might be getting in your way and support you in planning how to get there.

As a coach I operate from principles of success and I work with the mindset that you have the ability to work things out for yourself, with a bit of encouragement from me. I believe that coaching is about discovery, awareness, and choice and that every situation has possibilities. Great coaching can be transformational both professionally and personally. By empowering you to find your own answers, identifying your goals and helping you to leverage your strengths, we can explore the best way for you to achieve the outcomes you want.

What I love about my work is the variety and the wide range of topics that clients bring. I have coached individuals who want to build their confidence, explore limiting beliefs and imposter syndrome, putting strategies in place to strengthen their self-belief. I have worked with leaders who are first time leaders up to director and CEO levels, supporting them to ‘find their place’, build and lead highly effective teams and manage their own resilience and wellbeing. For me coaching encompasses the whole person. It is not just about achieving business goals, it could be about finding that work/life balance and finding happiness, exploring what motivates someone and what drains their energy. As well as 1:2:1 coaching I am an experienced Team Coach. I am commercially minded and am skilled in developing high performing teams, enabling them to: Take responsibility for individual, team, and business success; Take responsibility for the changes needed to deliver results; Have awareness of their collective strengths and blind spots; Have courage and resilience, focusing on individual and team wellbeing.

I have worked in large corporate organisations for over 30 years, and I specialise in leadership and team development, cultural change, and organisation effectiveness. I am passionate about developing my own skills and take pleasure in seeing others achieve their goals and aspirations. I am married, have 2 grown up sons and am also a doting grandma to our first grandson. I enjoy yoga and going on as many holidays as possible.

Nathalie McAree - trainer/coach with Castle Blue Development

Nathalie McAree

Consultant

I’m Nathalie, a 1:1 and leadership team coach, driven to help clients discover their natural strengths, resourcefulness, and power to make things happen for themselves and others.

Outside of work, I can most often be found managing the most demanding stakeholder of all, my young son as I try (and mostly fail) to instil my love of National Trust properties in him, or at the gym, trying to compensate for my love of food and wine. Prior to concentrating fully on my ‘soul’ work of Coaching, my background was in Organisation Change & Leadership Development. The former was specialising in working with senior leaders and teams to develop, design and deliver large scale change programmes with humanity and care. The latter was specialising in delivering bespoke or companywide leadership development programmes, enabling leaders at all levels to be themselves, with skill.

Based in Surrey, I work best with leaders who are going through a big period of change and need the space and supportive environment to think clearly for themselves, about their own next steps as well as considering and managing their impact over the people they lead. Coaching leaders through times of transformation is particularly rewarding work due to the ripple effect on their teams who will be looking to them for reassurance, connection and clues as to how to behave.

Over the years I’ve had the great privilege of experiencing broad and comprehensive training to become a coach. Covering different schools of thought and all recognised by the International Coaching Federation, the global standard in coaching standards and ethics. As such, I have a diverse skill set I can draw from when working with coaching clients but often find that the greatest service I can provide is to create a non-judgemental space, and partner with a client so that they can do some brilliant thinking for themselves.
